The principal is responsible for creating budgets, disciplining students and ensuring that learning objectives are met. To be successful as a principal you must be compassionate and organized. A good principal manages the needs of both students and staff members to ensure that there is a productive learning environment.

The School Principal should have an overall perspective of the functioning of the different departments of the School
Liaising with the State Education Department and other relevant Government bodies for the maintenance of good relationships and the fulfilling of requirements
To develop an atmosphere in the school that would lead to a conducive learning environment
The implementation of systems that would ensure the punctuality and regularity of students
The facilitation of the preparation of the Annual School Calendar
The design and/or provision of job descriptions for all school personnel
